In July 2024, Inmaa Energy Projects successfully executed the commissioning of 25 Rotork actuators and a Rotork Master Station System at the Um Qasr Jetty 2 Gas Export Terminal for Basra Gas Company (BGC). The project was delivered under a specialized service agreement between Wood Company and Rotork Middle East, with Inmaa serving as the primary field execution partner.
A critical element of this assignment involved the integration of the Rotork Master Station with the site’s Yokogawa Distributed Control System (DCS). This phase required extensive signal testing, communication mapping, and collaborative coordination with Yokogawa control engineers and site automation personnel to ensure seamless data exchange and reliable control functionality.
Inmaa’s engineering team conducted all works with technical excellence and strict adherence to HSE protocols, ensuring smooth integration with the terminal’s export control systems and achieving full operational readiness without incident.
This milestone project reflects Inmaa’s growing role in automation commissioning and advanced control system integration across Iraq’s strategic energy infrastructure.
